The heart of this Claddagh ring resonates in plush red. Two sterling silver hands reach from the band and hold the heart tenderly, while a beaded crown tops it with fanfare. Lovely little cubic zirconias nestled on either side of the central July birthstone, a ruby, add a scintillating touch.
The original Claddagh design debuted in the 17th century. Having been kidnapped on a sea voyage, an Irish servant spent years in captivity with a goldsmith who transformed him into an artful craftsman. When this man finally returned to his longtime love in Galway, he gave her this ring in an oath to spend the rest of his life by her side.
